Austin Tennis Academy A Glimmer of Hope

‘Playing for Glimmer’ is an opportunity for junior tennis players to play for something bigger than themselves and give back to the community.  It is an opportunity to become global citizens and to raise awareness and funding for A Glimmer of Hope Foundation.

2007-08 ACCOMPLISHMENTS

ATA players raised $40,000 which funded 12 water wells and serves over 5000 people.

2008-09 ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The ATA team raised $150,000 which built two schools, a water reservoir and 10 water wells.

2009-10 TEENS TRAVEL TO ETHIOPIA

Walk for Water Inspired by Breck, over 60 ATA students participate in an event mimicking the daily walk for water by rural Ethiopian women and children.
